....I am now BALLless AND AMPless.

I will now set my sites in a few months on either a REFLEX 5, or something else in the EBMM line.

I will be coming into some money, and will replace and rebuild my arsenal, but I REALLY NEED to try out an BIG AL 5 SSS, and a REFLEX 5 Hss. If anyone in the NY,NJ,PA area knows of a store that has any of these either in stock or on the way, please let me know.

Thanks for your support.

From what I've been told the only main difference in the fancy flame or quilted top. Oh and the 25th anniversary logo on the headstock. The rest is supposed to be exactly the same.

What is the difference in a REFLEX 5 and a 25th Anniversary?

Thanks,

backagain1

The latter was an anniversary commemorative (<--did I spell it right?) bass/guitar limited to one year only, and the Reflex is the continued production series in standard colours, while the 25th was only available in that gorgeous Venetian Red burst and either flamed or quilted maple top.

Sorry to hear that your bass and amp are gone (but you wanted to sell them, so I guess a congratulations is in order... sort-of...).

The good news is you'll have a nice selection to choose from when things get better. I hope that's soon for you.

Thanks,

I know it won't be long before I have a new rig and at least ONE ball. I'm still having a hard time deciding on what to get. If I could only try either a BIG AL 5 or a REFLEX 5, it would make my decision alot easier.

Oh well time will tell...

Tough choice but if you can order one in August, the roasted neck option would be the way to go.

Sorry to hear you've sold your 20th SR5 - I'm sure you'll be back up and running before too long.

That's the color that "I" was hoping to see as well, but anything flashy would do. Red would be a winner as well.

Have you seen the pics of the white with black binding - not quite as flash as the Randy Orange but still pretty drop dead gorgeous - the sunburst is pretty neat as well IMO.

A red would be nice though, I agree ;)
