errrr.... Sam Adams, ok. But you can get that anywhere.

I'm talkin' 'bout the little micros in NE. If you ever go to Portland,ME, make sure you go to Gritty McDuff's- a bar/Microbrrewery- absolutely delicious! Their Best Brown Ale is the.... best brown ale I've ever had! Check out the Chowda House down by the waterfront, too (can't remember the name- too many micros). Yummmmmy.... :)

Gotta get to the Cape one of these days.

LOL did that once with my stereo receiver.Had a plate full of turkey ,potatos with gravy, leaned over to lower the volume, and it spilled into the cooling vent. :(
Last I ever did such a thing. After I chipped out the fried gravy and a trip to the repair shop, its still with me today. :)

My favorite is not in NE but in Ashburn VA . . Dominion Brewery.
They make a beer called Tuppers Hop Pocket Ale & it is to die for!
(they have a pub on site).

Newport, Vineyard, and Cape Cod (& certain places in Maine) are my favorite
destinations in NE (Boston is a great city). My wife also wants to retire in NE.

Chet, in Sept, we spent a week in CC & it rained almost everyday :( . I usually
get to rent a bike @ Highway Pegs but the weather didn't cooperate. I hope
to have better luck this season.

Yes, love the Tupper Hop Pocket... all the Dominion's I've had are great. I love ales.

Ken- go to Acadia State Park in Maine, if you get a chance. Its a jaunt for you and me, but well worth it. Beautiful place!

What a great Brewery! have you tried the Millenium? a few of those
will knock you on your ass. Oak Barrel Stout? My sister lives a few
miles away . ..I can't wait to visit next month :)

Thanks for the destination in Maine - my wife will surely go.

Apologies for getting OT folks, but what's more important
than Beer and Vacations? ;)

I can't remember which Dominion's I've had (dead brain-cells from too much.... :p ), but I know I liked 'em.

And the OT-edness is my fault, so my apologies... But ya gotta check out the coast of Maine!

OK guys, you have to try Shiner Bock Beer. It's brewed in Shiner Texas. I've tried many, many different beers and this is the one that I pick when I buy beer. I've even brewed my own beer.

Thanks for the tip- I'll look for this one, but haven't yet seen it in PA.
