Texas Finally!
For this AL! This AL has had quite a trip across America.
I bought this AL from Pete about a month or so ago, but before it arrived I had a couple of unlucky life events happened and needed to sell it before I really even had it in my possesion, I thought I had sold it to a coworker but he backed out the next day so I put the AL on EBay and it sold quickly, I shipped it off to the buyer and felt very sad but the guy seemed real excited about getting it.
About a week later I was on EBay and there was the AL again, the guy I sold it to put it right back on EBay, the listing expired and he relisted it again after a couple of days he had no bids and I thought to myself I really should get my AL back, so I bought it and here it is, plays great and looks great, this AL has been from SLO to Connecticuit to Texas to Portland OR and back to Texas again in a very short time but it is home now and glad it is, plus sounds great through the new amp.
Side Note: I am thinking of changing out the pickguard and would like some suggestions on what color:D

Awesome! My Silo has been on a similar ride, but in a longer timespan. Try a white pickguard, it would look sweet ;)

It was meant to be.....................nice AL and story. I would leave the black guard.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw it back on the bay, yea the black is growing on me but still may want to change it, no biggie for me to switch back and forth between black and another color.

P.S. Thanks for the amp settings I am playing with them and will let you know:D

I'm not usually a sunburst fan, but I think it's beautiful as it is.

If not, then Tort or Black Pearloid is the way to go!

Nice pictures Foggy - make sure you try a Mesa F50 before you take the plunge - it's a great amp.

Hey FB welcome back into the fold - al's well that ends well ;)

I''ll be sending the original ALOC decoder ring back to you - I've been to the vault to reclaim it and that will be winging it's way back to you.

Turn to page 3 of the code book and chant the madrigal to reactivate it.

Nice looking AL - Tort looks good but I too like it as it is - spend the money on a pedal or something else!

Funny how these things happen. Glad you have it back.

I like the plain black, and the tort. Think I'd prefer the tort on that guitar.

When a good time turns around.
You must Tort it.
You will never live it down.
Unless you Tort it.
No one gets their way.
Until they Tort it.

ok Fing, you have bought 2 AL's and sold both of them. Now you got this one back, have you learnt your lesson my son???? Once you play an Albert there aint no goin back!!!!!

Keep it and love it heaps!

Yea Yea, lesson learned, the first sell was to fund a Dargie the last one was needed at the time but things work out, as franic said it was meant to be and I am keeping it, by the Rob whats your vote on a pick guard since you have more AL`s than anyone on this planet:D
