tort baby. or something way cool like moonstone. or you could go a different look and get a white pearloid guard, which would be a nice contrast to the black pickups, like my sunburst AL below

Dude - what fog said - tort or blackpearl. Maybe you can keep the black pickguard and change the pickup covers and knobs to white - will look so damn srv.. :cool:

Hey Keith, glad to see you got your AL back! I'll chime in with a +1 on the tortoise pickguard, it'll look killer on the 'burst AL.

How's that Mesa treating you?

Thanks, looks like tort is the vote just have to get it now, liking the Mesa alot, more amp than I was going to get but glad I did, still playing with the settings etc., first real amp I have ever owned.

I thought there was going to be some Grateful Dead reference here. But since the pics of the guitar are cool and the story has a happy ending, I am willing the let it slide.


BTW, Vintage Sunburst is awesome. Looks cool on an AL.
