On Monday I got the Falling in Between Live DVD, and wow, what a show!! The band are on the usual top form, but the production really adds something special.
There's also an "extra" which us knuckleheads will enjoy, where Luke shows us his gear..the Dargie..the black sparkle....the BFRs. He then shows us his effects board and rig. Lots to see and like.
Anyhow, a great DVD. It had a lot to live up to after LIA, and it really does deliver.
So, a great start to the week.
Then, Wednesdays post brings "Ever Changing Times". I'm still coming to terms with it all, but for now I'll just say that it is the best Solo CD he has done. The production and sounds are all top notch, but the quality of the songwriting is just incredible. Ball-kicking heavy riffs into stunningly delicate ballads, and then back again. Amazing.
We also get a mention on the credits on the CD insert...really!!!!! It says "Thanks to all the Knuckleheads!...That made my day!!! There's also plenty of lovely EBMM action on the insert - nice pics of a Rad Red Luke I believe.
So - forgive the ramblings of a fanboy, but Luke and Toto seem to knock the ball out of the park every time they release something these days.
I hope next week is as good!!!
