Yeah, Steve has his own signature Engl now. I have seen and heard this amp at Musikmesse in Frankfurt. Great amp and thanks to unordinary mids-control section amazingly versatile. That big mids-control section was a special request from Steve, because as a guy from Engl said, Steve was changing mids during playing all the time :D

I got my Morse guitar from him and he did me right. So, why not get the amp from him too...

I'm scared to ask the price of the Morse amp. ENGL's might be awesome amps; but it doesn't seem like their prices are for the working musician who doesn't have thousands of $ to spend...

The Steve Morse head (E 642) made its debut around Musikmesse time, and opening orders were taken about 3-4 weeks ago. The first batch should ship soon, then the regular production will begin in a month or two.

I looks like a fun amp, can't wait to try one out!

Butch, if you have any questions feel free to email me. The SM head is priced right between the Powerball and the Invader 100

The price for Morse Signature is not that high. For comparison: in Germany is on the same level as Invader 100 (~2100 EUR).
