That's HELL of a LOT of equipment for being a bedroom wanker tho :p . I'm thinkin right now that if I get a JSX combo 212 is going to be freakin too much lol. But anyway, how is that VHT combo you got there? Is it very versetile and would you suggest it and how much? hahaha
What about a Laney? Anybody plays those? I'm too lazy right now to read 7 pages of amp stuff, but I will tomorrow at work ;) hahahaha.

I have 3 VHT combos.
One is the CLX 2x12 w EQ... very versatile, can cover just about any style from super clean to death metal
Next is VHT Classic 2x12 w EQ... same as above with a slightly different vibe.
Then the little guy... Super 30(not pictured).. more of a classic rock/blues amp.
VHT 2x12 will run you between $1800 and $2200 used... but are very very hard to find.

Main Rig:

Pignose, mic'ed up to the local bar PA system.

Very versatile, from smooth creamy leads, to some twangin' blues rhythms...

Besides it, I play USA Hamers: Standard Custom, Monaco Elite, Studio Custom, Daytona, Vector.

My live setup is a rack system:

Randall RM4 preamp (TopBoost, Plexi, Super Lead, and Recto Modules)
G Major
VHT 2/50/2 power Amp
Engl 412 cab with two Vintage 30s/two G12H30s

Hey man, how do you like the Randall Preamp? l stupidly bought one and l'm just so unhappy with it, and now l'm stuck with it.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on it.

Scott.

Me and my rack rig on the right, and JCM900 head top left. Sorry, don't have the means to make the pic smaller.

u guys have no balls ..........

Perhaps, but it's all in how you look at it. Both guitars are strung with Slinky's at least, so you could say we have 6 pairs of balls between us. :D

...and we've got our hands on our balls.

You guys don't look very happy... what's up with that? Must be the guitars. ;) Though, I really like that color on a strat, looks very vintage and classy.

:D Nothing wrong with the guitars, we're just wearing our guitar faces I guess.

Yeah, my friend's Strat is nice, but nothing looks classier and more vintage than a goldtop.
