The seller is better off taking that guitar apart and selling it piece by piece.

Ever noticed that it it never the seller that makes the ugly mark's but someone else.I'll give him 140 notes for the neck...and 40-60 for the pup's.

OH, it's prolly worth paying 5 or 6 hundred for it and use as a spare or show off guitar. The only thing wrong with it is the finish(at least as far as we know) and if worse comes to worse, you could have it painted a solid color. Sure, it's sick with a quilted top to do that, but looking from a salvage point of view, it could be a cheap way for someone who maybe otherwise couldn't afford it, to get a real AXIS.

The whole thing stinks to me. Not only is the finish ruined but I don't entirely believe that the damage was caused as the seller claims- that area is right about where your forearm would rest, so it is unlikely anyone would put beer caps there - they'd be more likely to stick them near the rear strap button out of the way - whoever ruined the guitar needs a good kick in the toys...

If the body looks like that, I'll bet the neck and fretboard have the funk of forty thousand years pressed into it.
