I thought it would be interesting and funny for the knuckleheads to share some of the things they do or have done while at the same time practicing.

We all know that practicing while watching TV is done by all of us. However, most of us have other things we've done while practicing - I dare you to share them!!!

Don't worry we won't laugh at you:) Anyone practice while hang gliding??

I usually seal off the audio hut here where all my equipment is kept, and make my noise, check e-mails, cruise the forum, and continue to work on the ever elusive masterpiece that will make think "I may be onto something here"

Occasionally my 4 year old daughter will come in and jam with me....however I only let her play the F3nder...

MikeVt,

I'm totally "schocked"!!!! Are you with the Highway Patrol by chance!!

However, in the unlikely event that I have my guitar on my lap, and I get pulled over, for the sake of entering a "plea", I DO NOT drive while playing my guitar. I wait until I get to a signal or traffic jam, and then I safely play with one hand on my wife ( I mean the wheel), and one hand on my guitar. Which, by the way, is an Ibanez. The reason being I do not want my Axis confiscated by the police!!!

BTW, I still have that same Black BMW - watch out , cause I'm driving it to the "Springs"!!:):)

HAHAHAHAHA! I thought that might get your attention! :D:D To be honest, I don't really remember seeing you playing WHILE driving. I just remember seeing you sitting in the parking lot practicing while waiting for the EBMM shuttle to leave the hotel parking lot at the OH (where did we stay again - I forget??). I remember thinking 'I wouldn't do that because I'd keep smacking the headstock on the window.' I just thought it was funny that it was you that asked the question in the original post - so I had to mention it. :p

Steve Morse has some good stories on his site about practicing while driving. When he quit music to be an airline pilot he'd practice while on the highway to work ... :D

Someone should take their Ball on Tower of Terror.

Hmmm....I wonder what a ball would sound like at 0 Gs? I don't know if you guys have noticed this, but on some guitars the playing angle affects the string height and tuning. It doesn't change enough to matter, but I can see it change if I measure the string height and then lean forward or back.
