What are the single coils in a silo special compared to?

If not mistaken I believe the humbucker is a paf pro? But what are the singles? and what other pickup would you compare them to?

Owned on years ago and have another coming soon.

Thanks

Humbucker is DiMarzio Virtual PAF (older models had PAF Pro).

Single Coils - well it's a little hard to judge because in the stock wiring only the neck pickup get's used on its own but I think it is a little warmer than many single coils (which can sound a little thin in comparison). Nice gentle mid range punch. It never gets harsh or brittle sounding high up the neck.

So it's gonna be a good guitar for my classic rock band using my Splawn amp, eh?

Dr. Kev knows about the Silo Spec. As you know, I changed the pup's in mine, but those single coils were perfect. It was the bridge humbucker that I didn't care for.

Dimarzio told me they are very close to blue velvety...so I concur...guitar should be fine for classic rock, if not change out the HB, I have 2 of me and I changed the buckler in both but left the single coils, they nice and warm like Kev said...
