What are the pickups in the Axis guitar? I know they are custom wound but what are they like in compairason to other Dimarzios?

They are a bit too trebley for me. Im toying with the idea of changing them.

They are great but Id like a bit more low end and more mids.

Dimarzio says, that the closest sounding PUPs are the Tonezone and the Air Norton.

yea I know, I really do like them but they have more treble than I like to have in my pickups. But well see.

How about hard wiring a cap in there to act as a tone control?

I dont think Ill sell them. I do like them but a bit more treb than Im used to.
