I have been listening to a lot of Mark Knopfler and Dream Theater lately. I also find Van Morrison and Peter Gabriel in the mix a lot...

Right this moment though it is Santana.

Bryan Beller's solo debut entitled View. Adventurous music with a slew of incredible musicians putting their stamp on Beller's musical ideas.

And the two new Chris Whitley CD's, Weed and War Crime Blues.
Intimate, raw, and powerful.

Oh and some bootlegged Roy Buchanan live CD.

Meshuggah, Machine Head, Slipknot, Pantera, Deadsy, Kittie, etc...

Lighter stuff as well though, Pink Floyd, Cranberries, etc..

Almost nothing on broadcast radio is entertaining to me, and my CDs are wearing thin. Guess I will have to make my own CD. =)

the new prong and fear factory have been in heavy rotation lately. But the ones that keep ending up back in my CD player are:

Poison the Well - You Come Before You
Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come
Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Cave-In - Antenna
Helmet - Aftertaste
Snapcase - End Transmisson or Progression Through Unlearning

I think that Gilmoure and Waters would be sad to see you call Pink Floyd "Lighter Stuff" !

:)

Oh how times change... I remember being a big Megadeath fan and now they are almost tame compared to some of the stuff out there...

I guess I am just getting old.

And fat.

That may be more information than any of you wanted...

My brother sent me a cd that has Glen Burtnik and a bunch of tribute albums. It is a fun listen.

I have been way into the Tony Levin Band lately also!
