Thats a beauty.I love the 6 bolts,they are very high quality guitars . I use to have a 89 blueburst Silo and Mesa amps.Luckily I have a Morse to ease the GAS pain.

6-Bolts are an addiction. Every time a see a 6-bolt - be it a silo or a Morse - I have an unstoppable urge to check my bank account to see if I can buy another one. 
And of all the beautiful EBMMs I was lucky to own (20-th silos and many BFR JPs included) I only miss the old 1987 6-bolt beaten up red silo that I sold for a ridiculously low price. I would easily pay twice to get it back, but...

Nice older Silo there in GREAT shape! I like the blue-burst.
Sorry to steer away, but DK, whats so addicting about the 6 Bolts? No doubt they are cool older models, but the new designs are so much more comfortable. I wouldn't give up my 20th Silo for 5 older Silos with 6 bolts hahaha.

Marantz, of course I do (see my signature)! It's friggin' awesome.
Roubster - it's whatever rocks Your boat, You know. I've always loved older used instruments - basically because I come from the classical guitar and there it is stated as a fact the woods have to resonate for 15-20 years at the least to develop the full potential of teh instrument.
With electric guitars it's similar, in some way at least - newer HSH silos and 20-year-olds resonate and sound quite different, and I don't mean just the pickups. Older guitars tend to sound "mellower" and sweeter, the newer ones of the same construction are edgier, more on a screaming side and more focused. From here on it's what You prefer.
And I like the looks, too - in fact, many people like the "worn in" look and feel (ask Fender). However, with EBMM You pay for a really high end instrument that's some 20+ years old, and not for a new mock up with artificial scars.
As for the comfort - no issues with that whatsoever on the 6-bolts, even though they have finished necks, and that bothered me a lot on the BFR JPs. So, maybe I'm just crazy that way.
And to show You how crazy I am - one more 6-bolt is maybe going to be mine int he next days.

Of course I understand, I was just curious mainly about the 6 bolt heel compared to the super comfy sculpted 5 bolt. I know exactly what you are talking about when it comes to aged instruments and the wood. As a matter of fact my 20th Silo sounds better now after 4 years then when I first got it and the same with the Silo Special. What the cool thing about this is, that all the EBMMs sound brilliant right from the beginning and they will continue to sound better and better as I play mine for hopefully MANY moons to come .

The 6-bolt heel is actually a rather well rounded block (compared to some other makers rectangular 90-degree joints which really hurt when Your picking hand runs into them).
I can not remember one single occasion when I noticed a 6-bolt joint in a bad way in comparison to the newer sculpted joint (which is absloutely great, of course).
And yeah, just imagine how godlike the 20-th would sound when the 6-bolts turn 40.

I have never noticed a 6 bolt heel getting in the way either,plus 6 bolts must be an even firmer joint.The old woods were really nice too.As an example heres a pic of my ex 89 and 90 6 bolts necks.
