So what can you tell me about this Axis Sport hardtail and what it's worth?
I''m new to EBMM's as you can tell and looking to start my collection. I've been reading what I can and don't wanna make a bad buy, so I figured I'd ask the experts.

street value of a used one in good shape would be $750-$900. the mm90's are great pickups, fat single coil tone with lots of percussion....nice growl when overdriven.

cool color! good luck.

I have two... They are really great, one of the most underrated guitars in the EBMM line. The '98 is a hardtail with the MM90's and it sounds great clean or driven. The combination of the MM90's and ash body is unreal. As a reference I paid $800 for the Orange Sport and $810 for the Vintage Burst... If you can get that one in that range I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it. I sort of missed out on a Honey Burst Sport with humbuckers a few weeks ago, if it had MM90's it would have been a done deal.

Well that's consistent with GC's price I guess, they're usually very competitive and at the bottom of the range.

oooooooh I wish, out of my price range at the moment.

I have one one orange but with trem. I just love it!!!
and that's primarily what I want (although I play mostly stoptails, an EBMM to me screams trem), I'll be shopping around for one. but since this one is purple, and I'm kinda hankering to try P90's again, I'm considering it.

allright, that's testimony! appreciate the info. I just can't figure why this one hasn't sold yet.

I agree....I have one BFR A.S.S and I am on the hunt for another!!
Maybe I'll get one one day. Love the blues tune btw.

Thanks for everyone's input.
