Nice Shell Pink! I don't see a lot of those.

The only thing I don't like about the Starry Night is the lack of inlays-- dealbreaker for me. Otherwise, gorgeous finish. I looked on Reverb and someone was selling a Starry Night with big block inlays-- also has binding and a herringbone inlay on the back of the neck... I wonder if that was some one-off or what. Now that one I could deal with. I was going to post a picture of it but it looks like it sold and now I can't find an image of it. Damn.

I love my Pine Green and can't stop looking at it. It was actually that color that made me go for the model in the first place. But having also gotten a Buttermilk, I think Trans Buttermilk is THE iconic and definitive color/finish I think of when I picture a Valentine- and when I picture JV holding his signature. Such a unique and beautiful shade of white and the visible ash grain just gives each one so much depth and individual personality. I also like how the light color of the body pairs so well with the roasted maple neck/fretboard.

Although it was advertised as being a Starry Night, that guitar actually was not. I was able to zoom in on the serial number in one of the pictures when the listing was live, and it decoded to something like Charcoal Sparkle. Regardless of the color, that guitar was a looker!
