I love black/black/maple and white/white/maple but my favorite for an SR5 is Vintage Sunburst/Maple (either black or tort pickguard)

Looks great. However that isn't for outdoor gigs in the bright sunlight. It will either burn up or melt you.

I feel like I missed something.

Probably did.

If you're not being facetious, then I'll explain :)

I'm color blind, red/green. So I can't identify either of those, they both look like brown-ish (though it really depends on how vibrant the colors are). Also can't see purple well either, I'm missing the receptors in my eyes that identify red, so purple just looks like blue. :D I'm broken!

I'm not being mean, but I'm curious.

If you know you can't see red or green, how do you know what they look like? Have you always been color blind, or did it start later in life? I'm just curious how people that can't see color differentiate colors without knowing what they look like.

well it's not so, and forgive the pun, black and white :D. Yeah, I was born color blind. I hate using the word "blind" because I can see color, and I can even see some red and green. It depends on how intense the color is. My particular problem is that means that my eyes are less senstive to the light that causes us to see red and green. So anything with red or green in the content of the color, I have a hard time seeing (example, red + blue = purple, but since I can't see red as well as other people, it comes out looking like blue unless it is crazy violet with tons or red content, and even then I don't see it as you would see it.)

I bet that if I was wearing red tinted glasses, I could see colors (like red and purple) closer to how you would see them.
