Named It Jack

I named it Jack because, well first off I had to name it. I mean, maybe it's some weird thing about me, but I just think my basses should have names. My first one was Julian, and I named this one Jack partly as a bit of tribute to Jaco, partly because I thought it would be a somewhat subtle homage to Fight Club as sad as that is, and partly because I liked the name. It just seemed like it fit. I asked a few of my friends for better names but all they could come up with was "Jack seems kinda plain for a bass that nice looking..." so for now it's Jack. If you guys have any better names, it would be appreciated, only guy names though, I don't wanna be a chick bassist with a chick-named bass, you know? Not that i have anything against people who are. :)

I might be wrong, but I think Jacos real name was John, so you could name your bass John, and Bovinehost(Jack) would be happy once again.
:D

I am okay with basses named Jack, really.

I was just curious.

Because, well, I am Jack.

I have a bass named Heinz and a bass named ED.

So what can I say?

s'funny! I hold her body close to mine while I stroke and tickle her neck... once in a while I give her a slap (which she seems to enjoy) and sometimes I simply gaze at her with love, lust and delight... she's so beautiful! I would not want her to be a man!

Her name is Millie and I love her!

(Jack, Heinz, Ed... huh?)

Yeah, Jaco's name was John Pastorius III, and I think I will keep the name Jack, he feels like a Jack. Great bass but then again I guess I don't have to tell you guys about the wonder of Stingrays.... :D

not sure what color that is

Back when i ordered my sr5, the good folks at guitar center let me have one just like yours to use until mine came in. At the time they had three of them just like it. Great color although i'm not sure the name of it.......other than beautiful.
