What comes new with an EB/MM guitar?

I'm very curious about what really comes new with EB/MM guitars. I got my Axis Sport NOS and the case looks a little bit beat up and it didn't have all of the same stuff that my other Axis Sport had when I got it.

? for Jon or Derek or anyone at EB/MM. Do you keep track of the case serial number that goes out with what guitar?? I'd like to know if the case that I have is the one that it was shipped with.

As far as I know, we do not keep track of case sereial numbers.

Sounds as if the staff at the store you bought it at might have raided the case. I got all the standard stuff, polish cloth, allan keys, extra spring for the tremolo.

Yah sounds like I gotta call them and bust their balls (no pun intended) about that.

That's what I thought. This is my first with a trem, so the springs hadn't even came to my mind.

I didn't get ****. Don't buy from Guitar Center. Even though you're buying a guitar they still don't give you any thing else for free...not a strap, no extra string, not a thing. Cheep asses, I wont buy a guitar from them ever again(short of on of their blow out sales), they don't like their customers it seems to me. Oh well, at least I saved my Petrucci from there, and EB themselves sent the 3 sets of extra strings. That made up of Guitar Centers stingyness.

Warg, I've never bought anything from Guitar Center, but everytime I've been in one I got the feeling like they were going to try and take me for everything. I know that they are a big EB/MM seller, but I think that their tackticks (spelling) are a little bit under handed.

My latest purchase was not from them, but from Royal Music in New York. The price was right at $1150 (with shipping) and I had it in a day.

My last purchase was from Music Land USA and they were awesome!!!! That's why this latest purchase was a little it of a let down. I'll make the best of it, but I'll probably never buy anything from them (Royal) again. Buyer Beware!!!!

Funny because both my MD and my PRB came wth keys, allen keys, polish cloth, my DG did not.
