Nice piece of ash. On the Silo Special, I can't tell the difference when splitting the bridge bucker and middle single from two single coils, in 2nd position. Can't speak for the neck bucker. Looks like this one has a non-stock bridge pickup. I don't do FR trems so can't help there.

That's an older Silo, with a Shaller bridge. Those are the ones with the molex connectors I do believe. that make it so you can swap out pickguards.

No a trans finish guy, but whatever floats your boat man.

Here is my molex connector on my Silo Special. Great idea. Makes removing pickguard a breeze. BTW EBs got some great soldering skills. Nice clean joints.

This does nothing with the pickups it is merely a disconnect tool. And a great one at that. It doesn't split or alter the pickups in anyway.

Glenn,

You might want to take a closer look at the photo - that is the EBMM Floyd Rose bridge from the early 1990s, not the old Schaller bridge from the 1980s.

Cool that these still have the molex connector even though there is only one factory configuration.

Not a Floyd and humbuckers guy, but someone needs to pick that one up!
