Sterling with a maple board- if Bongos came with maple then the Bongo.

maple just looks better with that finish imo

Same here, I was thinking Sterling 5HH but it sounds like the two aren't happening at the same time. Good point about the Bongo's painted neck and more BD per bass...!

I can tell you Dave LaRue is regular folk as much as the rest of us. He just has more talent than some of us. :)

That's because he's Dave LaRue. :D Blue Dawn finishes are not available for us regular folk on Bongos.

Um...You do know the 2007 Ltd Ed color is Blue Dawn and it WILL be available for us regular folks, albeit for a limited time, right?

Hence, the whole point of this thread.
