what Gauge Strings Do you Use?

I have been using 9s for years. However, I recently started playing in a band that does alot of Black Sabbath songs tuned to C#, so I use 10s on that guitar.

I like 12's

I use 12s because we drop a tune and smaller than that the string just flap around.
My rhythm player uses 13s!!!!

Always the Lime flavored EB Slinky 10's.

I've been using them for quite a few years...although now I think I have to try out the Cobalts.

EB Slinky 10's here too. Came with the JP6 and never changed since. Switching from 9 to 10 help me build up the strength in my fingers too!

You guys should all mention scale length of the guitar and what you are tuning to....just saying you use 10s doesn't mean a lot. One guy could be using 10s in standard on a strat and one using 11s on a Les Paul in Eb. Big difference.

True, but for most people it's 25.5" in standard tuning, especially around here where Music Man guitars are only 25.5". People generally do say if it's anything different.
