What goes on in Indio vs. SLO?

What does EBMM do in Indio? I've seen the pics/vids of the SLO facility in the Open House threads.

i dont know all the details ... but the guitars/basses are made, engineered & repaired in SLO and strings are in indio.

I have no idea where the other accessories (straps, etc) are made... oh, i think picks are in indio too

I just did a Google Earth on Coachella, CA, to see where that city is. It zoomed in on this huge facility off of Grapefruit Blvd. Had me wondering if it just zoomed in on you guys--completely by chance. Now, I know it's not, but I did wonder at first. Or...maybe it is...

Try living in Ottawa for a year or two BP... February typically sees temperatures at -30° Celcius or lower with the wind chill factor; that's somewhere down around -22° Fahrenheit to you old Imperialists... And yes, we do go outside in this weather...

Just looked on Google map. They look a long way apart(I know 260 miles). LA looks enormous. Is SLO near where Sideways was filmed? Since seeing that film I've wanted to do a wine tour there.
