Thank you A.J. and Joe. I didn't know he used a bass as a guitar. Must have swapped out the pickups I guess?

It doesn't appear he changed the pickups. The Silhouette Bass is more like a longer-scale baritone guitar (29 5/8" scale vs 27 1/2" for the JP Baritone) that can be tuned to E or A. Here's the MM webpage on them:

I messed around a bit on one at a dealer several years ago but I think it must have been tuned to A.

as John said, it´s not a bassguitar, it´s a baritone.
i´m using the OLP version of it, and this is lot of fun to play with. mine is tuned from B to B and sometimes to drop-A.
