WOW! Thanks for the responses guys! This is very helpful. I definitely agree that maybe we should put another JP up there. Every JP we get flies off the wall. I don't think we've been able to keep a Y2D on the wall for more than a week either.

The EBMM fan in me wants to order an AL and a LUKE just so I get to mess around with them, but I'm not sure how they'll do in the store.

Maybe I can convince the old man to get one of each model!!!!

I tried stocking one of each and wound up with 30+ guitars and basses, immediately followed by a whuppin from Nick and Dad.

I think this is really hard to answer. If I were stocking for a store I'd shy away from anything with a Floyd - just for easy maintenance - unless I was sure it would sell quickly.

I think the JP is really the flag ship model as far as sales go so you've got to have one of those.
Then I'd probably get a hardtail Y2D.
And then maybe an Axis or an HH AL.

Of course , that leaves you no with single coils. Hmmmmm........

Actually, after thinking about it more, I concur with A.J.

Rich I dont know if you are coming from a personal or business point of view, The AL HH was a big seller this year and after never having any interest in owning one the minute I saw it with double buckers and a Rosewood neck I had to get one. The JP is the biggest seller in the line today though due to the neck is not up my alley, but I am in the minority there. The Axis was always my favorite Ball and between the EVH/Axis I would believe the biggest seller and best known in the companies history. I guess you would want to carry an s-s-s model so a Silo Special or AL, though if you hang an AL HH you add more of a selection with a Silo Special. Then you are left with the Reflex, Luke and Y2D so this is really freaking hard lol, and I understand the dilemma. Honestly if I opened a store I would personally stock at least 1 configuration of each model like Pete does.

Damn Rich I was Googling to see who carries EBMM guitars on the Island and see you have your own page on Wikipedia and besides the fact you play guitar for Blue Oyster Cult your Father played with the Chambers Brothers! I am seriously impressed.

Thanks for the input! I'll let you know when we get the guitars in if you want to take a ride over the Verrazano to check out the shop.

Thanks,
-Richie
