Ernie,

I didn't realize that the Black Silo that you revived was such a special relic!
10th one made!!! That's awesome :)

First of all, I just want to say hello. I'm new to the board, my name is Anthony and I am a proud JPMM owner. Looks like a great board. Anyway, there used to be this really awesome JPMM photo gallery website that was run by David Rogers (aka Rush on the petrucci board). Does anyone know what happened to that site, is there a new link? He had a ton of great pictures of every available JPMM color. Thanks.

Anthony, welcome aboard - stick around some and enjoy the fun!

I'm glad you are happy with your JP, and remember - if you are ever in the market for another one I will gladly hook you up again. :)

I will definately be here permanently, great board! Also, if you didn't know, I am Erotomania88 over at the Petrucci board, you're probably more familiar with me there. As far as another JPMM, I actually may be in the market for another one, I am thinking of selling my Fender that I got just a few months ago. It's a great playing guitar, but humbuckers are more my thing and I think that JPMMs are more versatile in general and in tone specifically.

Ernie, which ONE is your favourite??? :D

This is my favorite to play:

pearl redburst G15821 piezo/match:

It's my main player nice and broken in, already had a refret (thanks Jon) and I am currently working toward refet # 2.

My favorite color is Gremlin Green Sparkle.

I used to have 4 other EVH's, a Luke, and I think 7 or 8 Axiseseses that I sold a year or two ago. I just had too many guitars. Right now I just have the exact # of EBMM's that I need.:D

I actually have a question for you since you have so many:

Do you notice a difference in the fret end finishing on some of your Petrucci's?

I've noticed a pretty big difference in some, so I was just wondering.

Just so you know, I only play 5 or 6 of my Pets. I just took a "feel" on six of the ones I don't play that I have out on display, which are of course new, and the fret ends are smooth as silk. I do remember that when I first got my solid black Pet, the fret ends were a little rough. It took a little breaking in to smooth them.

It is only impossible to be done if you have never started, Grasshopper. The journey of 1,000 guitars begins with the first

Ok...daily make fun of foggy joke covered for today. Please go about your regular posting.

Yes, I know who you are - I do my best to remember everybody that I can. Let me know if you decide to ditch the Fender :)

I remember when Mr. Koogs came back from visiting ernie. He had such a great time seeing all the guitars and playing. Ernie's wife stuffed him full of food and was such a wonderful host to him...Rich had a great time. Couldn't stop talkng about it for days! I saw all the pics Rich took, very nice collection...

Alright, cool, glad you remember! I will for sure let you know if I decide to get rid of the Fender. At this moment in time, I am really leaning towards doing so.
