When i got my EBMM, the headstock wordings look like tat

After 6 mths of so, it look like tat. ( Hope it is clear enough) It seem like the color of the wordings had darkened.

Im quite puzzled. the colour should not darkened. Pls advice. Thanks

its hard to tell in the 2nd photo because it is out of focus
what do you actually mean

the colour of the words has faded?

they look pretty much the same to me but no one will be able to tell because that 2nd photo isnt at the same distance and focus as the first one

Really? It's a new one on me, but all my headstock logos are black or white decals... Wouldn't surprise me though - inks can change with time...

Wow that's wierd. I wonder if it happens more on painted headstocks than natural headstocks?

yeah I've seen it on Jeffrey's Pets. He once posted a pic and his older Petrucci in Pearl Redburst had faded logo, more than his new back then Carbon Blue Petrucci

I know your a newbie but I think that Big Poppa is gonna chew your butt for posting that here. Help me out here guys am I wrong or is he supposed to call customer sevice and not post problems here. Just thought I would let you know before you tick off the big guy.

Gold paint is notorious for darkening, especially on decals. The same is true for cars as well. Doesn't affect the tone though...;)

no offense but it still looks real good i personally wouldn't worry about it. But if it bothers you call customer service 1-800-543-2255
