Hey everyone, long time no talk haha. I've been really busy with a new band and haven't had time to come on here much.

I'm wondering what everyone has been listening to lately!

I've been listening to the following bands just to name a few:
A Plea For Purging
Carnifex
Casey Jones
City And Colour
Every Time I Die
Fight Fair *I highly recommend these guys if you're into pop punk*
For The Fallen Dreams
For Today
From The Pawn
The Ghost Inside
Sleeping Giant
Terror
Unearth

in Hell... with cows...
necrophagist's onset of putrefaction and epitaph. i bought them at the same time as Devin Townsend's Ki, a brilliant album; but the other two crept under my skin alarmingly deep. funny how a moment of curiosity totally changed my view on music. sorry mr petrucci, you are no longer nr1! (but your guitars still rock!)

I'll stick to instrumental, guitar oriented music for now. I really got plunged in Oz Noy's recordings. Oz, is a great guitar player operating in the jazz/fusion/blues strat sounding area, so if you like Scott Henderson, Wayne Krantz and Scofield (who also seems to have a significant influence on Oz) you may wanna try. Oz has a very natural/organic sound, and creatively uses a lot of effects.

Oz Noy - Ha!
Oz Noy - Live
Oz Noy - Fuzzy

and I'm gonna get the new record soon, I haven't heard it yet.

best regrds form Poland!

Circus Maximus - Isolate (-> Dream Theater fans, go check them out!!!)
Dream Theater - Black Clouds...
Cynic - Traced in air
Scale the summit - Carving desert canyons
Racoon - Another Day
Freak Kitchen - Organic

Well, that's it for now, I think.

Well, I'm like all over the place.

Right now a mix CD my wife made for me. When the kids are in the car, yes, I must say it, Camp Rock (daughters 8 & 11).

I recently have started listening to Metalcore. 6 months ago I hated that crap and then I started listening to Avenged Sevenfold and I love it.

I am also loving Blues Saraceno right now. I heard his "Lighter Shade of Plaid" on Pandora a few weeks ago and I'm hooked. He has as good a tone as any guitarist alive.

I've been listening to Andy Timmons for the past week now non stop. Resolution is amazing and also That was Then This is Now. I just cant get enough of his tone and feeling and the compositions are so memorable.
Also Marco Sfogli - There's Hope is a great album with amazing playing, tone and melodies.

I tend to listen like a teenager....over and over and over and over when I'm learning a song. Right now it's the Randy Rhodes version of Crazy Train.....on my headphones right now.

Anything by Opeth, but mostly Damnation and Ghost Reveries

Pink Floyd - The Wall
Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape
Protest the Hero - Fortress
