Right now it's the Randy Rhodes version of Crazy Train.....on my headphones right now.

Is there any other?? unless its some instrumental version I dont know of, in which case send it to me NOW! Listening to a new Rhoads solo is like a christmas present. they might as well call those Ozzy albums "God on guitar, Satan on vocals"

Hm...I've been much more into my own music these days, becasue my band is at the mixing and mastering phase (the second album is cooking). So main theme on my loudspeakers is Made Of Hate. As for other music I've been listening lately I need to point out such artists as Marty Friedman (my own fav collection), Megadeth (Endgame), Dream Theater (that's a looooong list of songs) and Dimmu Borgir (few songs with outragous arrangments).

best,
Mike

I recently have started listening to Metalcore. 6 months ago I hated that crap and then I started listening to Avenged Sevenfold and I love it.

I used to be the same way a long time ago. Here's some bands you might like.

All That Remains (brutal and melodic)
Killswitch Engage (extremely melodic)
The Human Abstract - Nocturne (a great album with some great odd signatures and complex guitar work)
Protest The Hero (awesome guitar work and very melodic) not your typical singer
Between The Buried and Me - Colors (This album is more melodic) Can these guys play or what

Duran Duran
Yo Gabba Gabba songs- the blasted tunes just stick in my head ALL day.

Been listening to some old Duran Duran on the treadmill the past several mornings. Not sure if John Taylor is a respected bassist or not, but I dig his playing. I can't help but plug in my air-bass when I hear RIO. I'm sure I look like a tool.

On my rotation lately:
Pink Floyd
The Police
Sting (earlier solo stuff)
U2
Various Motown artists (Marvin Gaye, Four Tops, Smokey Robinson)

Looking forward to hearing the new Pearl Jam.
