Just a thought - I've learned alot while hanging out here the past few years... Curious to know your thoughts, too.

Stuff you learned here - didn't know before you came to this forum - and now find valuable. I'll go first...

That an allen wrench is great for cleaning out excess ear wax....

No seriously, that there was an alternative to Warwick, amp design and preferences. God and so much more.

great thread idea:) one of the greatest lesons I've picked up here is about tolerance of others and ecceptanceof their ideas and yheir unique & individual forms and expresssions of enthusiasm ... plus, Ive picked up some great tips and pointers about the properties of fine quality musical instruments...I've also learned some things about the ingredients behavioursand nature of a fine, quality, and customer -minded enterprise ... in most recent times , Ive learned some things about the fellowship of bass blayers and especially those of the forumitez.

I've gotten some great tips about instrument setup and EQ. For both, a little goes a long way.

I've also learned that this company makes some seriously cool stuff and values customer service.

That just about every forum member has the loyalty to EBMM that a Secret Service agent has to The Prisident. Also, the CEO is not the starched shirt type, more the Hawaiian Shirt type.

1. When to post an issue v. when to call customer service (always call c/s).

2. Bongoloidism is a disease (stemming from gas?). It is not hereditary.

3. How to use a mathematical equation to purchase a new bass.

...that there are still some good people out there! (ie $$ for azzy and jeff, BP sending tiffles a Bongo)

...the company listens to it's customers (the Dargies...)

...that this site secretly makes you want to buy multiple EBMM products!

...that I need a Bongo and a Sterling! (see above)

Fun things I've learned - Be careful what you rant about it can haunt you, i.e. straight knobs, trans teal no wait black. Beware of pictures posted from Lefthanzia. That certain people can become addicted to a specific color of green and must have many instruments in that shade. Its OK to have G.A.S. (this place is a serious catalyst).

Serious things I've learned- It is possible for a company and its people to really care.
Not all music forums are either boring or out of control. Markbass amps are amazing (saving for one). Also props to BP for having the courage and insight to communicate with his customers.
