Happy B-Day Mark. Love the wall- have something similar, but smaller at my house. Not much of an interior decorater, but IMHO looks great.
BTW- where is the acoustic bass?!?

I've never played an Earthwood, but every other acoustic bass I've played proves to me that the words "acoustic" and "bass" should not be used together, particularly if you want to be heard over an acoustic guitar or a singer, or somebody with a tambourine or shaker. Jack Bruce sums it up well on the Farewell Cream DVD where the interviewer asks him why he took up bass. Jack's reply is something like "because it's electric".

Agree 100%, but I still enjoy mine. The only way I've found to avoid ^, I found a small battery powered amp to give just enough volume to combat the above mentioned. It is a Crate Taxi that has a built in 12v battery that will last 3 or 4 sessions before it needs to be recharged. It has a 8" driver and a horn, and best of all, it has a crossover built in so all the low stuff goes straight to the 8" driver which prevents that muddy overdriven sound that usually comes out of a battery amp.

ROFL, ROFL

I was really just kidding anyway..........................................
