Note that Albert Lee isn't typed on the Headstock. Different name for these models?

You know, I wonder if BP and crew enjoys our rampant speculations, or if it drives them crazy? ;)

I hope BP doesn't mind that I started that thread about naming the 2 humbucker version. It would be cool if he actually used one of our suggestions!

that white 'Fat Albert' with the all rosewood neck is STUNNING! slap piezo on it and it would make for a seriously versatile guitar. Me thinks.

I can't wait ...

hmmmnnn...maybe a 10th anniversary jp model is in the works...i'd definitely get my hands on that...

I never thought of that. I dont know whether they'd celebrate a decade of the model But one is for sure - you'll definitely see FEW of them made similar to the Gold Roller or the Koa 25th or even more exotic. Thanks acid

Yeah I think it'd be doubtful but I agree that maybe there will be a few one offs or something as usual. Good thing is that now the one offs may be available off EBMM Shopatron.

I checked it out. I am already trying to move some gear for one of those! It's fantastic

would the 10 years be from the prototypes or from actual production?? which was early 01 if i recall correctly... would be cool to see if they do a 10th anni JP though.

I don’t think there is much they can do for a 10th JP. His guitars are absolute perfection as they are. Maybe a special colour? but after all the discontinued colours, that might not make sense.

You never know. John is experimenting quite a bit so I wouldn't be surpirsed if he finally goes to mahogany... Just a thought

IMO. You should start the 10 years from when the model was available for sale to the public. So I guess we'd have to wait a couple of years.

Definitely, the JP is killer the way it is. But I'm sure with John and the folks at EBMM putting their heads together, they could come up with something very special.

its when we designed it the clock starts

I have no idea what that means but I really hope it translates to "yes we will be making the 10th Anv JP BFR with a chambered body and will be offering it in 7 string and left handed" ;):p
