What is it?

My father's friend is selling his son's bass, He said it is in very good condition, he is asking $400 for it, just wanna make sure its a good deal. My dad sent me a pic of it off his phone. The picture is pretty bad can't really make out what kinda Bass it is. I'm guessing MM Sterling or Stingray. If anyone can tell me What model of MusicMan it is, and also if possible what year it is that would be great!

it's an OLP bass. It's not a Music Man. but the design is licensed.

Seriously, the dad selling the bass didn't pay that kind of money to begin with, so it really dosen't matter if he knows about it or not, it's an Olp which makes it a cheapo bass.

I don't think so Tim. I have one very similar that I got from MF for around $75. It carries my six string.
