I hear it's modular, and gives you the option of choosing your own preamp, EQ section and power amp.

Here's how you test it, apparently.

I too saw this and am waiting to see what it is about. A very interesting concept to say the least. Has anyone heard when we are going to get the drop on this?

Too many options don't you think? Most bass players are simple people, plug in, leave it flat, rock out. I don't see this product having a long shelf-life.

Then you can make a simple MoMark with less options, and pay less...!

I can't tell you how much we hear people say "I want a mute switch", "I want pre-EQ", "I want phantom power" etc etc etc...
It's hard to please everybody, and this way you can get exactly what you want, very easily and quickly, and you have the freedom to change things by buying a new module, not a whole new amp.

Some will no doubt prefer one of the standard models. But anyone who knows what they like in an amp will really enjoy this freedom of choice.
You could have a 1000W digital amp with a tube preamp and 21-band digital EQ, for example... or you could have a 250W analog amp with NO EQ and a VPF filter, and a headphone output. Just examples.

YOU decide what you want, based on YOUR needs and tastes. It's all about freedom. You Americans like freedom, don't you? ;)

Cheers,
Peter

I hear you Peter. Maybe for some it's a wonderful product offering. Me personally, I'm a plug and play kind of guy. My Eden head runs flat. I've got enough tone options with the onboard EQs of my basses. You guys are doing very well it seems so keep up the fine work. (BTW I was impressed by the F1 head I tried at a GC in Jacksonville months ago - and yes I did run it flat!)

Hadn't thought of that... when does it hit the stores in Europe?

I saw the rack live already.... cheap plastic look, not the quality the "real bass player" needs...but good idea to build your own sound. Maybe the second updated version will be more robust without the plastic "car knobs" and the uneven front panel...

I love the concept! I had narrowed it down to a Markbass of some sort, but this will make the purchase a lot more fun. When will we be able to see pricing?
