So i was playing my sub 1 last night and started to think...how is she made? How many pieces of wood is the body made of? etc etc

Anyone got any pictures of one in production? Or any with the paint stripped?

(I have seen some pictures of open days at the factory, but none of any subs being made)

I a intrigued to see how ugly the neck and body wood is that EBMM felt the need to finish every inch of it.

Here's one I have - tough to see but I remember them looking pretty much just like every other body in production. It's not necessarily that the wood was ugly... the purpose of the SUB was to be a relatively inexpensive USA-made instrument, and it is easier to shoot a satin finish on it than it is to buff, or take the time to oil/wax the neck.
