Many come to mind, but three stand out:

1974 - Elton John on Goodbye Yellow Brick Road tour... I was 14
1981 - Pink Floyd doing The Wall from 30th row center... the wall was tall!
2006 - Green Day... mosh pit with my 10-year old at his first concert

And of course countless gigs in small clubs... like the one last night!

Lots of people saying Paul McCartney, I didn't think anyone actually liked him.

But (don't judge me) I would love to see the village people!

The Who 1975, Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland, Ohio. Many old-timers around here still regard this as the finest show they have ever seen. I agree. :D

Nah!!! The Who 1970 Sophie Gardens Cardiff supported by the (Unknown) James Gang.

The Who at vetch Field Swansea wasn't bad either with Little Feat Supporting.

Led Zep - early 70's Cardiff

Free - Bristol (Kossof was on form that night)

Rolling Stones Wembley London - early 70's

Thin Lizzy at the Top Rank Cardiff 70's

.. many more from the 70's ahhhhh!!!!

Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke,

All awesome gigs but I must say I really liked Oasis (forest national, Brussels, Belgium), but Iron Maiden at Graspop 2008 (Dessel Belgium) is still THE best one for me :)

Groups I've seen I thought had a great show:

TOP (always a great show)
Earth Wind and Fire
Chicago
Yellow Jackets
Bella Fleck and the Flecktones (Does Victor have 6 fingers?)
Stevie Ray and Double Trouble
Allman Bros.
B.B. King (always a great show)

So many more...

Was (Not Was) 1987 or 1988, don't remember which. Amazingly tight. Had a fantastic drummer who was only 22 years of age at the time.

Jamiroquai 1993, just after the release of their first album. Saw them at a festival, never heard them before, from that moment I was hooked.

Off to see The Who tonight, with Pino on bass. Should be a good one.
