Yeah dude I took a lot of heat for criticizing the Ed for the money grab he's started in the industry. I just don't feel it's about the music anymore. tho' I 100% am going to purchase the EVH Phase 90.

I ordered that pedal and just picked up the MXR Wylde Distortion for solo boosts. It's awesome and does not kill your amps overall tone, just makes it fullier, creamier, and warmer.

You know, I was thinking of the EVH pedal myself......re-tooling my effects department.....glad to see a good review of it. Plus, OC is thinking of getting it and he is my tone sensei...hehehehe...but, I will either repaint it or just duct tape the thing...hideous color scheme....

i think he should have stayed with music man, and ernie ball should have just tried to increase production of his axes. Peavey guitars aren't that good IMO.
