Question What is this? JP6 Swirl or Photoshop tricks?

That was a guy here on the board, user name Norrin Radd, he had that done after market. Do a search. It was glow in the dark too if memory serves me right.

NP, I believe that the guy that did the work is no longer in the business. But Greg (aka Norrin Radd) can tell you better. Always thought that was very cool personally.

Swirl is an acquired taste. Some just looked like horrible mess. but I happen to love this one, the colors chosen worked really well with the mix of green, white and black. I think it's gorgeous.

Yup. WAS being the operative word. . They talk about the one that got away........

Oh well, yeah, that was done by Herc Fede. Not sure if he is still doing swirls or not. I haven't been able to find out on the web lately.........

Sure was a cool guitar. Glowed in the dark too. Way cool! And an amazing finish job too. He was/is truly a master artist. I'll see if I can find some more good pics and add them later.

You sold it? I always loved this swirl, but never saw the matching headstock. If I ever get a swirl job done, this guitar would be the model. Did it changed the tone in any way after you had it repainted?

I agree with Tung that a swirl finish is not everyone's flavor mine included, but this one rocks and was done to perfection. Wow Norrin I am surprised you let that one go, but I guess you have your reasons or someone caught you in a moment of weakness lol. Did you pick out the colors or you left it up to Herc.
