Is was watching this auction.Was that a stock piezo from EB that was removed? Think it's a bad deal?

No it was an aftermarket one.
If it was an EB piezo it would have had a third knob.

The thing is when I was a lot younger we used to do all kinds of things to guitars that would make ya shudder - so I guess it's no different today.

That started with Dan Desy who had the Ghost piezo installed and then sold it to BigMike who removed it. I think BigMike had already sold it so this, I believe, is a new sale.

I guess someone could add a onboard preamp now or something. Maybe put a switch there for extra juice. It's just in a weird spot.
