Just curious to see what your favorite color on a Sterling is. Mine is Pacific Blueburst.

I fell in love with the orange firemist since it's very close to the UT longhorns' burnt orange.

My favorite colors on any MM bass tend to be:

1) Those that are offered by MM, but not available on the model I'm interested in
2) Those that have been available but are now discontinued.

:D

Having said that, MM finishes are always really, really good. Also, without exception in my experience, they look better in person than in photos.

To actually answer your question, though… from the current colors I'd have to say Black Cherry Burst or PBB. I think I'll really like Tangerine Pearl once I see it, though, 'cause I have a thing for orange basses.

For some reason the original Dargie finish looked best on a Sterling and is by far, the best color ever for a Sterling. JOSH

This was a stunner. Looked awesome, and was the best 4 string MM I ever owned. White Sparkle and around 8 pounds.

I was going to say some kind of blue on a Sterling would be my #1 choice, but after seeing pictures of the Dargie finish ...... yeah defiantly :)

Well, yesterday when I asked this question my favorite color on a Sterling was Pacific Blueburst like on the one I have now, but I purchased a Sterling in Honeyburst today which might change that. I'll post a picture of it when it arrives on Wednesday. So for now here's the Blueburst.

I love the Pearl Blue. In fact, I have thought about eventually getting one like in the picture below to compliment by Natural Sterling 4H. My next Music Man will be a Black on black Stingray Classic with a birdseye maple neck and then possibly this exact bass below. After that, a black Reflex with the Game Changer.

It's normal that I'm in love with mine, Black Cherry Burst:

Also like whole natural Sterling with black PG and maple board, or Blue Burst with white pearloid PG, MHS and maple board! ;)
