Having met Keith for the first time at SLO I'm sure lots of you would agree with me in what a great guy he is. Not only that but one hell of an original guitar player - when we were jamming in the hotel in San Simeon he was impressed with the tunes I was playing - the only thing was unlike him I didnt actually write any of them!

What you probably dont know (because Keith was too modest to make anything of it) is that whilst I was out there he sold me his Axis SS with piezo for the princely sum of $500. This money was going to be sent to the American Red Cross to help with the aid for Hurricane Katrina. Not only that but he also doubled the donation out of his own pocket to $1000.

This was an amazing thing to do Keith and I for one appreciate it and hope the money does some good.

Well, I was gonna write a matching check...

The way it went down was like this...estimated taxes were due a couple days before the open house. So I had to part with a chunk of money before the trip.

Then Dave buys 2 guitars PLUS mine (including a Mr Horsepower) and gives me 5 large at the sat dinner, that I then gave to Pete sitting 3 chairs away plus I added $100 to cover the cost of the Luke balance which I certainly didn't expect.

But I did cut a check on Monday to the Red Cross for $500.

Enjoy the guitar Dave. That guy can play any song you call out!

And had one of the most interesting stories at the OH...He rides those London trains every day and so does his wife, but the day of the bombings they both had somewhere else to be and luckily weren't on them!
