Stringray5 -> monster cable -> Ampeg Svt3pro (with a Alesis 3630 compressor in the effects loop) -> Ampeg Svt610hlf.

I am thinking about getting a distortion pedal of some kind. Can anyone recommend one that doesn't suck out the low end? I hear the MXR M-80 is pretty good....

Hi all, I'm an italian girl.

Sorry for my English...

When I was playing bass I played the Stingrays with a Mesa 400+ or SWR IOD/Yamaha power amp into a EBMM 2x12 cab. If I couldnt get help carrying the 2x12 then I'd use 2x10 & 1x15 Eden cabs.

These days all the stuff gathers dust with the exception of the Stingray. Damn it sucks being old in the Dal-ass music scene.

Hi all, I'm an italian girl.

Knowing me, you'd think I wouldn't miss that.

I did, though.

Welcome, good Italian lady! I was in your fabulous country late last year and had a fine time. We will of course require photos of you and your bass.

Nice to have a feminine touch around here occasionally.

Yeah, a while back, we had Joke (don't know her forum name, also from Belgium), but it's a while ago since I've seen here.
Anyway, welcome, and like Bovine said, we need pictures

Welcome Bassbara, this is a fun place... so have fun! :D

This is my heavy duty rig (Ashdown) on the right is a Bose PAS that sounds killer with bass and I just ordered another bass module for it this morning.

And for pure TONE... "THE TONE" I use this...

This rig sounds the best but it's only a 100 watts.

(this is an old picture, note the beer can, I no longer drink...) :D
