Question What kind of maple top is on the Axis SS with not transparent finish?

Is it figured like on Axis with transparent finish or not?
I want to refinish my Axis and make this guitar:

to look smth like this

It's the same maple top, however on a non-translucent finish it may not be quite as figured (makes sense, right? Save the highly figured stuff for the visible finishes).

As for re-finishing that ... don't! You have an original run of "Blue Dawn". Keep it or sell it and get something else! It's a great sparkle finish that's not made anymore.
