Sounds as if there's an octaver in there as well... or did you tune down the bass?

Thanks!

Tuned down to DADG. It was a fun, and a challenge. Got me thinking about an octave pedal, but I settled on gettong a little Digitech synth pedal for cheap off of ebay last week instead. Ideally, I'd love an 8-string instead but...I have 2 small kids. I can swing $50, but not $800 :D

I'll second that on active basses and EH pedals not getting along. I have had issues with pedals being too strong gor the EH pedals to handle. Like Any Moogerfooger into pretty much any EH pedal and I get spiky uncool sounding distortion.

I highly recommend the "Tone Bone" line of pedals from Radial. I use a Hot British and it turns my 65 DR into a Marshall Plexi! Check out their website and also read the ToneQuest report on them.

I used to use my Boss GT-6B, but now it's just a volume pedal and straight into my Ampeg SVT4Pro.
