Hi, need to replace the little rubber pieces from my Sabre bass and I'd like to know what kind of rubber you use on it.

they can now be ordered as a spare part from your MM dealer. with the thumb screws too

While this is absolutely phantastic for those who need a complete set, I think it is a bit of a waste of material if your basses sport complete mute assemblies which just have worn or missing rubber pads. Would be cool if the rubber pads alone were available as a set to buy. I'd need 2 or 3 sets right away... (but then again, I'm only one of the 8 or 9 Guys Who Loves Sabres)

It's a 5 minute job to make a set, using an old mouse pad, ruler, Stanley knife and double sided tape. There are a few threads here that have the measurements and DIY process very well explained.
