What kind of rubber MM use on mute kit?

Hi, need to replace the little rubber pieces from my Sabre bass and I'd like to know what kind of rubber you use on it.

Pieces of Black mouse pad cut to size with a trimming knife look great.

While this is absolutely phantastic for those who need a complete set, I think it is a bit of a waste of material if your basses sport complete mute assemblies which just have worn or missing rubber pads. Would be cool if the rubber pads alone were available as a set to buy. I'd need 2 or 3 sets right away... (but then again, I'm only one of the 8 or 9 Guys Who Loves Sabres)

It's a 5 minute job to make a set, using an old mouse pad, ruler, Stanley knife and double sided tape. There are a few threads here that have the measurements and DIY process very well explained.

the kits aren't that expensive. It's great these are available again.
