What kind of stand?

In short, the pole and personal recommendations are not supporting each other.

Well, I'd never use a hanging-type stand that did not have the Hercules locking widget on it. I'd be too afraid that bumping into it would make the bass rotate and fall out. If I wasn't aware of that innovation, I would have voted bottom-support.

Perhaps those who are voting for bottom-support have never seen this gadget for themselves.
