Hello fellow mates,

I recently discovered some Guitar Center footage were Steve Morse and Luke are playing together with Big Poppa. I really liked the looks of the BFR model that Steve was playing that night. It's a red-ish finish, mixed with some copper. But I might be completly mistaken due to the lights that evening.

Do you guys have any information about that particular guitar? Any help is welcomed. I added some pictures to show you, what I am talking about.

Thanks!

Ahhh! I was there! :D I think Donnie and a few other heads were in attendance that night as well. It's the Hollywood Guitar Center, and it was Mr. Morse, Luke, BP and Mr. Ferraro on the drums part of the EBMM 25th Anniversary tour. FOr part of that tour BP gave all the sig artists a "True Gold Rosewood Neck Model"

Luke made his famous, and became the PDN one we all know, and that one is Mr. Morse playing his! :D

It's true gold, rosewood neck, just like Lukes. Or as Steve called it "mango" Lemme see if I still have pics.

Man, I remember it was dark in there, my camera took some poorly lit photos too. but as many Knuckleheads will attest, true gold is a really hard color to capture.

Here are some pics, sorry about the quality

Thanks for sharing some cool pics and memories from this evening, Steve. Is/was/will be this color available from EBMM?

Dang. I liked it at the time, but I love it now. I'm sure it's the Luke reissue- it's just stuck in my head as to how cool a colour combination that is, and with the RW neck and all.

My question is still unanswered: Is the Morse BFR Rosewood in True Gold somehow available for order? Thanks for all the answers, anyway.
