Cool thread

Most past-times took a hit when my kids were born (now 4 & 19mths), but :

Played A-Grade Aussie Rules football, and was a bit of a gym freak.

Bad knee injury killed my footy, so took up road cycling and am now pretty seriously into that.
Need to get back to the gym though - cycling does nothing for the arms !!

Oh, I also have an old Ford musclecar that I annoy the neighbours with every once in a while.

i love to tinker with guitars and basses.. the peace that settles in when you put the guitar on the bench and start working on it making it better... cant describe it, but it really refuels my energy :)

also i like to fool around with cms, esp drupal.. im on the local drupal user group board and i use it for the online shop at work, my brothers private site and a local music schools site as well. its challenging from time to time and im a sucker for a good brain workout :D

You have much to learn, my very young apprentice!!

for 10 years I was afraid to talk to women, all I had to do was wear a plastic suit and they'd love to hang all over me..........

Did I do wrong???

Seriously though RAD, cool hobby, there's a guy in my office makes replica star wars guns and sells them on eBay, pretty amazing how widespread it is, - do they have easy access for toilet breaks???

This will sound lame: Walking. I try to take about a 45 minute walk everyday at lunch time. Really relaxes the body & mind.

I also go to the gym (stationary bike, free weights, etc.) 3-4 nights a week. Gotta keep up my girlish figure.

Other hobbies include gardening, home maintentance/repairs, homebrewing and Frisbee Golf. Yes frisbee golf, screw that one with the little white ball. ;)

I love fast cars and do some 1/4 mile drag racing. I own a 2005 400hp 6-speed LS2 GTO and two Trans Ams, an '86 auto and a '94 LT1 6-speed.

I am also building my own Dumble Overdrive Special "type" amplifier. First time for me to build an amp. I want it mostly as something to experiment with.

I haven't gone skeet or trap shooting yet, but it's only a matter of time! I love doing the outdoors thing, be it hunting, fishing, going to the range, or sitting on the beach... I'm also very big into muscle/classic cars, and have a stroked '74 Dart Sport that runs 12s and a '68 383 4spd Barracuda that will hopefully be on the road this summer. The '68 has been a 5 year project!
I love that era Barracuda body style. I owned a blue '67 fastback when I was in the Navy back in the early '70's.
Best I've ran with my stock 2005 GTO is 13.45 at 108 mph. The hp is there, but traction and my driving skills aren't. haha

Congrats on the 12's and good luck with the 'Cuda!

What kind of times are you running on your Goat? My TA's best time was 11.29 @ 123mph - it's got a few mods ;)
