What pickguard to get with blue dawn silhouette?

This decision has been haunting me ever since I decided to go with a blue dawn silhouette (if that's an option to even get that color on a silhouette...I heard it was though). Anyways, if it's possible to get blue dawn on a silhouette what pickguard color do you think would look best with it? I was thinking black, but i'd love to take suggestions and also pics would be AMAZING!!

personally, i would go with a black one so i could swap it for a white one, and have black pickups, knobs, etc. I love that look, and I eventually plan on ordering a desert gold silo and doing this

i will definitely get new pickguards for my DD silo and LE AL. thinking i might really be different and get white pearloid on the DD Silo, and leave the black knobs/pickups. On the LE AL i might go python!

I am afraid that you can't choose the pickguard, it's gonna be black. I think the best option for silo is white pearloid with white covers and maple fretboard. Like that combo a lot

You can choose the pickguard color, it is an extra cost but definitely an option

you sure Colin? I was told previously that black was the only option. i was just gonna get you to get me in a new pickguard soon after the axe comes in.

Black Pearloid or Python for my Blue Dawn Albert? Abalone would look odd, black ice maybe, moonstone of course might look great too.

For some reason i'm really not a fan of black pearloid...So far, I think black is the overall winner heh it's pretty damn sexy with the blue dawn

plain black is ok, but isn't doing it for me. I'm sure better with a rosewood board.

But getting it with a black guard for the purpose of getting black pups then switching the guard is pretty nice too!

Oh wow, that white pearloid w/ white pups looks AMAZING!! I really like it If you get the white pearloid pickguard, are the pups automatically white as well? BP, I think I should have enough money to put a down payment on a 2007 LE soon enough, so that shouldn't be any problem heh I can't believe I don't even have my JP yet and i'm already GASing for another ball
