What PickGuard to slap on me Silo Special

Ok, so I ordered a Silhouette Special through our own PeteD few weeks back instead of the ASS. I ordered it just w/ a black PG to make it simple, and also easy to upgrade to whatever else I thought would be cool.

Here are the Specs and color scheme of the SiloSp:

Color: Carbon Blue Pearl
Fretboard: Rosewood
PUP Config: HSS + Piezo

I was thinking White Pearloid, but I dont want white PUPs so I did not put the order in w/ that. The other choices that came up are Black Ice and Moonstone. Lets see what kind of tastes you guys have hehehe ! You guys can also do multiple choices!

Black Ice is so sweet on theat guitar, BTW I love my silo special, mine has a rosewood board as well, best guitar I own -

That's what I was leaning towards, but I just have no clue now, with all these cool choices!!! You should vote too if you like .

BTW, Foggy if you have any of these color combos feel free to post pics here !!! Mainly w/ Black Ice and Moonstone but Tortoise would be kind of interesting.

I'd say 12. Moonstone, it has some white and the pattern is really nice.

I have a pics of every combo. They're not all Silos, but I hope it helps. Silo seem to come mostly in the combination of CBP-white pearl-maple, or CBP-white-maple, or CBP-abalone-rosewood!

That orange-y mother of toilet seat pick guard on the Bongo is amazingly cool - with a maple board that would positively kick my hiney! (I voted tortoise BTW).

Am still vacillating over the same question r.e. my blue silo. Prolly just stick with the white pearl it came with. Problem is the white bucker.

Ordering it new, still in blue and with rosewood board, I'd go with tortoise shell with black covers. Ever since someone here said the abalone reminds them of a bowling ball, I haven't been able to get that out of my head .

Thanks for al the input! Apparently everyone loves Abalone ! I like it a lot too, but for some reason I did not want to put it, but think I have changed my mind. The most likely choices so far is staying just Black, or Abalone or Moonstone.

Hey Foggy, can you give me some pictures of more Abalone and Moonstone PGs? Doesent matter what instrument or color.

NorM, if you dont mind you can post pics of your Graph Pearl Silo w/ Moonstone and the Blue Dawn Silo w/ Abalone. Always a pleasure looking at those .
