You're kidding, right? Balls are WAY cheaper than many other brands! The last set of imported brand T flats I bought cost over $70!!!!

In fact, the least expensive set of Balls is only three and a half bucks more than the absolute bottom of the barrel at Musician's Friend.

Prices, yes. And local incomes as well. A set of strings costs more than a week's salary for the average Indonesian.

Low B string sounds dead

Hi,
I just would like to know if it is only my problem that my Bongo's low B string sounds dead with all kind of strings. It's strange but true! I have a Warwick Streamer Stage II. too, so I compare Bongo to that.

I used to put DR highbeams (steel) until last week...Then i changed to very cheapo nickel strings (Dr. Ducks!) just to try nickels...and i tell you guys, i'm really happy with nickel. +1 on nickel. Stainless feels really weird under my fingers, and on my SR5 it's just way too zingy. Anyone know if EB makes (or has ever made) anything like the D'Addario Half-Rounds, or something in between nickel rounds and flats?
